PostSubject: About some of the rules...   Tue Aug 26, 2008 2:09 pm

1) Realistic colours:
To be truethful, a lot of people really like having non-realistic colours. Because...? Because a lot of normal colours are boring. I kind of think it doesn't really seem fair as a lot of people usually have unlreastic colours. So why should we not be allowed to keep the colours we like? I suggest you change this rule, please.

2) Mutations:
Lots of characters on furcadia have wings, and other things like that as well. My character is a kitsune/kyuubi/demon fox, a fox which either has wings or mulitples tails (3, 6 or 9 are the usual number of tails) Again, it's the same as the "Realistic Colours" rule. Realistic packs are usually the unpopular ones and I would like the staff, and other people starting a pack, to keep that in mind.

3) Respect your pack members:
Though I agree with this rule completely, let's take a moment to look at a certain rank for a moment: The Omega, the lowest rank in the entire pack. In most packs, the Omega is ordered around by almost everyone, poked fun at and, occasionally, beaten up. So, does this mean that, in this pack, things such as this DON'T happen to the Omegas? Hmmm... Going a bit against tradition, isn't it? Or does this only apply in OOC terms so that while your IC you are allowed to do what the heck you like to the Omegas? I wish for staff to make this rule slightly clearer, please.

4) "Birth is the only time when Omegas are in charge. If a female is about to whelp and an Omega tells you to get out, then you better move it!":
WHAT!? affraid Okay, time out! Let me get this straight: Are you saying the Omega is allowed to actually make a Den Mother leave the Den, WHILE THE DEN MOTHER IS ABOUT TO HAVE PUPS!? What!? Are you actually suggesting the female is to have her pup's outside? I know this is virtual and everything, but aren't we (look at the first two rules I talked about) supposed to be following realistic things and such? Seriously, what does this rule even mean? IT DOESN'T MAKE SENSE! Please make this rule more clearer.

Thanks for listening to my complaints, I hope the staff understand some of the un-logical things in these four rules. If you find a rule that you have a problem with, please post this rule here.

1) Do you ever see blue or purple or red wolves out in the wild? Most feral RPs have this rule because it keeps the game realistic. If you have a problem and want to be a pink wolf, then I suggest finding another dream. =] I'm sorry but I don't see the purpose of a feral RP if it isn't realistic.

2) Wolves in the wild do not have wings and foxes do not have multiple tails. As said above, if you want to be a winged wolf or a fox demon or whatever, then I suggest finding a less-serious role-playing feral/demon dream. =] I don't get what you mean when you say the realistic packs are unpopular, because if you look around AI and the Wylde, you will find many popular feral RPs with that same rule. You may think our rules are strict, but I've seen packs where only the Alpha and his/her mate are allowed to whelp, which is almost always the case with real wolves.

3)Keep in mind that the rules are still in rough-draft form. Bluemist and I will be continuously updating and editting them as the pack progresses. I understand what you are saying and I will move that rule to the OOC section.

4)It means that the Omegas have the right to kick out all other wolves that might be crowded in there. Use common sense to figure that one out. Rolling Eyes I don't know about you, but it's rather difficult to RP a birth with half the pack crowded into the den.

Okay, Duskete, I see your point with colours and mutations thing (even though I STILL don't agree) And thanks for clearing up the the other two rules (especially the one with the Omegas in-charge, I was going crazy for the moment, there)

because you still dont agree with the mutations rule then think of it like this if you where rping with anougher wolf who had wings but you did not and all they posted was them flying around not only is that a form of a unfair rp but it would be very easy to twink if the person had wings so by keeping it realistic you would also be keeping the twinks out

Speaking of twinks... I should make a more-specified rule about that in the RP section.
